For my inaugural post, some thoughts on this project:
I’ve been a reader all my life but have found myself more and more inclined to spend idle hours on the internet instead of immersed in a book, even as my Kindle has made it exponentially easier to read more books faster and in more places. There is no better time to start this challenge than with summer fast approaching!
I’m excited. I’ll have at least 52 new books under my belt by this time next year. I can’t promise they’ll always be intellectual or interesting to a wide range of people- I don’t even know that I am going to like them all. But I do know that I will now have way more answers when someone asks for a reading recommendation.
